Organizational Description

The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls (The Academy) is a world-class educational platform for girls which is aimed at nurturing a new generation of dynamic women leaders. This residential boarding school is situated in Meyerton, Gauteng Province with just over 300 students enrolled in Grades 8 -12. Grade 12. Students write the Independent Examination Board (I.E.B.) NSC Examination.

Minimum academic requirements & experience

● A B.ED degree with specialisation in Accounting or an appropriate
academic qualification, a postgraduate certificate in education, and proof
of registration with SACE.
● 3 – 5 years of teaching experience in a school environment, teaching
Accounting and any of the Humanities or Commercial subjects.
● Experience in GDE / IEB teaching at Grade 12 and NSC marking.
● The ability to teach Business Studies would serve as an added
advantage.
