The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls (The Academy) is a world-class educational platform for girls which is aimed at nurturing a new generation of dynamic women leaders. This residential boarding school is situated in Meyerton, Gauteng Province with just over 300 students enrolled in Grades 8 -12. Grade 12. Students write the Independent Examination Board (I.E.B.) NSC Examination.

●Bachelor’s Degree in Education or an equivalent qualification with specialisation in English Home Language, accompanied by a PGCE.
●A valid SACE registration.
●A minimum of 3 years’ proven experience teaching Grade 12 English Home Language, with the ability to effectively map and deliver the English curriculum across Grades 8–12.
●Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the CAPS/SAGS Grade 12 English HL curriculum, including assessment standards and examination requirements.
●Demonstrated teaching experience and full proficiency in NCS/CAPS are essential.
Added Advantage
●IEB teaching.
●IEB and/or DBE NSC marking and/or moderation.
●Experience in, and/or willingness to teach Further Studies in English.
●Willingness and ability to improve our students’ English results in one of the core assessment areas.
