The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls (The Academy) is a world-class educational platform for girls which is aimed at nurturing a new generation of dynamic women leaders. This residential boarding school is situated in Meyerton, Gauteng Province with just over 300 students enrolled in Grades 8 -12. Grade 12. Students write the Independent Examination Board (I.E.B.) NSC Examination.

● Relevant degree with a professional teaching qualification;
● Proof of active registration with SACE;
● At least 3 years of teaching experience in teaching Grade 11 and 12 Mathematics, and the ability to teach Mathematical Literacy up to Grade 12
● IEB and Further Studies Mathematics
● A passion for enquiry-based, student-centred learning;
● Knowledge of Mathematics curriculum design and assessment frameworks for Grades R to 12;
● Skill in identifying and bridging students’ learning gaps;
● Extensive understanding of the high school Mathematics curriculum;
● Awareness and working knowledge of the latest trends in Mathematics education;
● An ability to create a positive learning environment.
